HotelSec is an independent editorial desk run by an IT and cybersecurity professional. The site covers digital security news across hospitality: property management systems, point of sale, booking engines, wifi, room keys, smart locks, data breaches, ransomware, white-hat research and regulation.
Our mission
Inform, do not alarm. Every article starts from a verified fact, cites its sources when they exist, and places the event in its technical and operational context. The writing serves two readers at once: the IT director who needs the detail, and the general manager who needs the essentials.
Two languages, one standard
The site publishes in French and in English. Both versions are written, not machine translated, because compliance vocabulary and shop-floor vocabulary differ from one language to the other.
